Introduction

The Dutch brand Reginox is known as an international pioneer in the market for stainless steel sinks and washbasin units.  At Reginox, we realize that leadership creates expectations as well as obligations. We continually invest in our means of production and technology for specifically this reason. Our technologically-advanced and extremely high quality production cycle allows us not only to develop innovations on the drawing board, but also to quickly and accurately put these ideas into production. Essential to this capability is our workforce of highly educated and experienced craftsmen.
This positions Reginox solidly in the global market. We organize and manage the production of more than a half a million stainless steel sinks and worktops annually in more than a hundred different styles and designs. Our one-stop-shop concept also allows us to serve our market with taps, worktops, waste bins and other accessories.

Situation

Reginox uses the ERP package Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) for their internal processing, and were looking for a good platform to build their new webstore. They selected Magento because it is a widely-used system that also supports several languages. Magento currently has approx. 38% of the e-commerce market. In addition, the Magento webstore could be integrated with NAV using Tinx-IT’s standard solution: the Magento connector. This solution provides Reginox with increased efficiency since data can be managed from one location and orders are processed directly through the ERP system.

When Reginox contacted Tinx-IT, only Dutch and Belgian customers were able to place orders through their webstore, however, Reginox wanted to expand the webstore to Germany, Great Britain and other markets in the future.

Solution

Magento partner ShopWorks has developed the Magento webstore for Reginox. The webstore was developed in two phases for both B2B and B2C customers. During the design of the webstore, it was important that Reginox’s professionality, ambience and transparency were apparent. Attention was also paid to user friendliness for the customer. An expanded search functionality was included for convenient searching of the various sinks, taps, worktops and other accessories available.
The webstore operates on the Magento platform and is fully and seamless integrated with the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) through Tinx-IT’s Magento connector for Dynamics NAV.
