Cups4you develops, produces, and sells injection-molded packaging between 100 and 2500 ml for mainly the food industry. Cups4you have over 50 years of experience. The packaging is produced from 100% recyclable (biobased) material.
Pack-Store is one of Cups4you’s sales channels and uses a Magento 2 webshop to sell its packaging to both consumers and Business-2-Business customers in Europe. Both companies use the ERP software package Microsoft Navision 2017.
An interview with Marie-José Broekman, Application Administrator at Cups4you and Pack-Store
Marie-José has been with Cups4you for a long time and has seen the company grow from 35 to 80 employees today. As application manager, Marie-José is responsible for the hardware and software.
Improve administration and optimize stock and price management
The main reason for developing the integration between ERP and webshop is to improve administration and optimize stock and price management explains Marie-José Broekman. “Because the stock management, price management, and administration took too much time and therefore money, the need arose for an integration between the ERP software package Microsoft Navision 2017 and Magento 2 webshop.”
Marie-José compared several companies in the search for a suitable company that can provide the integration between Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Magento webshop. The choice fell on Tinx-IT, partly because our Navision partner Blisss has good experiences with integrations between Navision and the Magento connector of Tinx-IT.
Marie-José: “We have been live for almost 1 year now, we switched to a new Magento 2 webshop with the connector to Navision. What I like about the Tinx-IT connector is that the management of the data is easier. The products, including the stock, are sent directly from Navision to the Magento webshop. In our current work, we see that article management and price management for standard prices and our administration is much faster. The stock in Magento is now correct and if a customer buys something, it is actually in stock and we do not have to say to customers now: sorry the product is not in stock”. There are also some improvements to be made in the price management section.
Pack-Store has made considerable savings, given the automation of various work processes. They have grown considerably in terms of turnover partly due to the Tinx-IT connector and now have time for other objectives
“In terms of time savings, it is difficult to express because it concerns different departments and people, but our administration and our financial department is much less busy with Excel sheets and increasingly use the reporting possibilities of Navision. These reports via Navision are easy and clear”.
