pc/nametag, Inc., a subsidiary of Avery North America and leading source for customized name badges and on-site registration supplies has implemented a B2B Magento webshop, fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013R2 with the Tinx E-Commerce Connector for Magento.

“Because so many of pc/nametag’s products are highly customized, it usually takes a lot of back and forth with an event specialist via phone and email before the orders are finalized. While our website has always accommodated do-it-yourself items and simple custom orders such as imprinted lanyards, we are refining the site to also be an ordering tool for more complex customized items,” says Sebastian Hooker, ecommerce manager.

Hooker explains that the mobile-friendly site will also include the functionality to review, approve or reject artwork proofs, one stage of the ordering process that takes a lot of time by email. Additionally, order information that was only accessible through the call center such as open quotes, invoices, shipment tracking and artwork is now available through a customer account portal. Customers who have a long history of working with pc/nametag’s sales staff will also be able to view, pay for and re-order products online.

“We developed the new website to be more than a catalog ordering tool. It’s also a lens into pc/nametag and how we’re so much more than a supplier with exclusive products. For example, we provide robust content on the site highlighting our custom services that take a customized order through consultation, advanced printing, assembly and shipping,” says Hooker.
