Tinx E-commerce connector(s) now available in Microsoft AppSource

After 25 years of development experience in NAV, Microsoft is now making the move to the Cloud. That means that Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud is now fully managed and maintained on the Microsoft servers. This gives users several important benefits:

  • Always the latest version of Business Central;
  • No more worry’s about the security of your data;
  • Access your ERP anywhere and on any device.

We understand that many of our current and potential customers want to take advantage of these benefits. That is why our developers worked hard to make our E-Commerce solutions available for the Cloud. This was not easy. Because the Cloud version of Business Central does not allow you to make changes to the structure of the software, developing our Cloud solution required some creativity.

Previously we modified the internal structure of the software. In our Cloud solution, we now added an extension. This means that when the underlying code of the software changes with a new update, this will no longer affect the Tinx connector. What does this mean for you as a customer? In the past, quite a few technical adjustments were needed to update Business Central. With this new solution, nothing stands in the way of an update.

Erica Hoekerd (CTO of Tinx-IT): “With the release of our solutions in Microsoft AppSource we have achieved a big step forward. The complete process from development to qualification by Microsoft was not that easy. I am very proud of the Tinx team who has contributed to this milestone!

Curious about our connectors? You can find them here in Microsoft AppSource.
