Is it necessary to make changes to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) in order to have Magento Connector work?

No, from NAV version 2016 and up no changes have to be made. Just a small change needs to be made with all NAV versions below 2016. Code unit 1 needs to be adjusted in those cases. For B2B implementations more changes are needed to standard objects.

Do I need a programmer/developer in order to implement Magento Connector in Microsoft Dynamics NAV?

No, no programming skills are required for setting up and activating Magento Connector. Skills in the area of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) data model are, however, necessary.
